Children who are being homeschooled in Colorado are required to take a nationally standardized achievement test in grades three, five, seven, nine and eleven.

Christa is available to administer the following tests which meet that requirement:

ITBS (grades K-8): $200/individual student, $150/student when two or more students are being tested together* (Grades K-2 can be tested together as can grades 3-8.)

ITED (grades 9-11): $200/individual student, $150/student when two or more students are being tested together*

SAT10 (Stanford Achievement Test): $200/individual student, $150/student when two or more students are being tested together* (Grades K-3 can be tested together as can grades 4-6, 7-8 or 9-12.)

Achievement testing on the ITBS or the SAT10 takes between 3-6 hours total depending on the age of the child and can be broken up over two days.

Testing can take place in your home or at a prearranged location in Northern Colorado.
Please contact us to arrange a time and location.

Additionally, we can test your child privately on the CogAT or the OLSAT to provide you with some insight into your child's current academic potential.  These tests are co-normed with the ITBS/ITED and the SAT10, respectively.  When tested on the combined achievement/ability battery, these tests enable you to compare your student's scholastic achievement with his developed academic abilities.

Please do note that the CogAT and OLSAT are not IQ or intelligence tests.  Both tests were designed to measure the reasoning abilities a child has developed through his educational and extracurricular experiences, not his intelligence.

The CogAT takes approximately 2.5 hours to administer and the OLSAT takes approximately one hour.

We pride ourselves on putting children at ease so that they can perform their best on achievement and ability tests in a familiar location such as their own homes.
